The many dimensions within Minecraft give players plenty of interesting environments to explore, and an ambitious, conceptual update created by a fan shows what a new “underworld” dimension could look like in the game, along with the mobs that would inhabit it. Minecraft fans have long been hoping for a new dimension in the game, and though they haven’t seen one in over a decade, some of the game’s recent updates have hinted towards a new dimension that could arrive someday in the future.
Minecraft‘s multiple strange dimensions show that there’s more to the game than blue skies and green fields, as the main Overworld dimension is just one of three realms that players can traverse in-game. While the Overworld is where most players spend the bulk of their time, the Nether dimension offers a completely different and even more hostile environment. This dark hellscape is full of creepy biomes, and plays host to its own ecosystem of strange monsters that live among the Nether’s lava lakes. There’s also the End dimension, another strange realm consisting of rocky islands which are suspended amid a limitless void that offers a true endgame challenge for players.
