This latest experience from Minecraft literally takes ‘life or death’ situations real for the game, meaning that it would not allow you to respawn here.
No respawns mean you can no longer access what you have built during this Hardcore Mode session, emulating real life.
Minecraft: Bedrock Edition ‘Hardcore’ Mode Now Testing
The official Minecraft account on X is now inviting people who own the Bedrock Edition to try out its latest ‘Hardcore Mode’ under testing in the game.
This new mode is available under Survival Mode, which offers gamers a new kind of difficulty. Not only does it offer a more grueling experience with the environment and threats lurking around, but it also means dying in-game is permanent.
According to its Minecraft developer, Sophie Austin, it is one of the “hardest of modes” available in the game, the most difficult of which is available in the Bedrock Edition‘s preview and beta.
Users would have a “one-life rule,” which means that there would be no backup plans when entering the Hardcode Mode.
